This Is My Story
My name is Mari Page, and for many years I had a long-term desire to escape a soul-sapping corporate career and pursue something more creative. Having studied photography part-time, and become an accomplished photographer, I had hoped that this would fill the creative void I felt. But wanting to do more with my hands and take a product from start to finish, I learned clothes-making on weekends with my sister-in-law, a retired clothes designer and dressmaker, and studied handbag design. In working with different materials, I became passionate about working with leather.
In an age where everything is so commercial and mass-produced, the art of hand-made leather products created without sewing machines or laser-cutters really appealed to me. I have developed my leather crafting skills, my design skills, and now a product range with which to start my exclusive handcrafted authentic full-grain leather making business.
